Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) can be prevented!
Hearing loss affects people of all ages but young musicians and teens are especially at risk.
I started a community Hearing Protection Initiative to educate teens and student musicians about the importance of using hearing protection during practices, performances, and as audience members. We can preserve our hearing and extend our musical enjoyment and careers!
Educational outreach: teaching student musicians and teens about hearing protection and preventing NIHL. Outreach at performance events, schools, and community events.
